Accessibility Statement

Last updated:

Our commitment

Everyone should be able to read and use this site. We build studio.qognis.ai to meet WCAG 2.1 AA, the level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines that covers the needs of most users with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we define quality, not an add-on at the end. This page explains what that means in practice and how to reach us if something does not work for you. The target applies to every page.

What we build for

  • Keyboard navigation. Every page and every interactive element is designed to be reachable and usable with a keyboard alone, without a mouse.
  • Readable type. The site is set in Archivo, chosen for clear, legible text at every size, with IBM Plex Sans Arabic for Arabic text.
  • Structure assistive technology can read. As part of the WCAG 2.1 AA target: a clear heading order on each page, labelled controls, and text alternatives where images carry meaning.
  • WCAG 2.1 AA across the site. Perceivable content, operable controls, understandable pages, and markup that works with screen readers and other assistive technology.

A target, honestly stated

WCAG 2.1 AA is our target, and targets need checking. Accessibility is not a one-time badge. We review the site against the guidelines as we build, and when a page falls short we treat that as a defect to fix, not a footnote. One deviation is known and stated here rather than left for you to find: our primary buttons use the Signal Red brand colour, which reaches 3.76:1 against the page. That meets the AA threshold for large text but not the 4.5:1 required at the size we use, and it is a deliberate brand decision rather than an oversight.

Report a problem

If any part of this site is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard, or any other assistive technology, tell us. Email studio@qognis.ai and describe what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and what got in the way. Reports like this find real problems faster than any audit, and we will respond.
