Qognis Studio is a founder-led software studio in Ghent, Belgium. Most engagements start with a fixed-scope audit. Prices are public. Every deliverable is reviewed by someone who did not build it, and a written charter names, in advance, the work we won't do.
02 — Rationale
Most software is sold on things you can't check.
Discovery calls, price on request, claims no buyer can verify. That's how most software gets sold, and every part of it favours the seller. We run the other way. What we charge is a public ledger of six formats, €3,000 to €35,000. What we promise is written into scope before any code, then independently reviewed. What we refuse is written into a charter, because a rule that only exists in someone's head is easy to bend.
We work with engineering-led founders and technical B2B teams, people who know their own stack and can tell a real answer from a confident one. We investigate before we build. When an audit, a smaller format, or no engagement at all is the honest call, we say so.
03 — Credibility
Who stands behind the work.
Founder-led, in the literal sense
Dr. Mouhamad Al-Mahmoud has spent more than eight years building software. He scopes every engagement himself, and his name is on what ships. There is no account manager between you and the person responsible.
Senior hands, not a bench
When a build needs more people, he brings in engineers and architects he has worked with for years, people holding senior roles at software companies in Belgium and France. Nobody learns their trade on your project.
Built for your next market
Most products are built for one market and patched for the rest. We build layouts, type, and formats that hold in any language and any script, right-to-left Arabic included. Entering your second market is a content job, not a rebuild.
04 — Operating entity
One entity carries every engagement.
Qognis Studio is the software and services arm of Qognis BV, a Belgian company registered in Ghent. Every engagement is signed and delivered under this one entity, inside EU law and GDPR. At handover, the accounts, the source, and the documentation move to you. The record below is our public registry entry. Check it.
